Maria had shown extraordinary musical abilities in the early childhood. At the age of 4 she began her studies at the studio "Children's Operetta" where she participated in children's musical performances; then at the age of 11 she was engaged in "Drama School" at the Drama Theatre where she played in drama and musical performances. Ms. Kalesidis had graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State Conservatory in 2008 and completed her post graduate studies at Hochschule fur Music "Franz Liszt" in Weimar, Germany in 2012. Ms. Kalesidis leads an active concert life and has given a great number of concerts worldwide. Her venues included concert halls of Russia, Armenia, Finland, Norway, Spain, Italy and Germany. Her programs consist of works by Fr. Liszt, N. Medtner, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninoff, M. Ravel, R. Strauss, G. Mahler, F. Schubert, R. Schumann, H. Wolf and other composers.
